Sweet and Sour Cabbage

3 tablespoons butter
1 small red cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons white wine
1/4 cup brown sugar
salt and pepper
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in the cabbage and cook for a few minutes until bright purple.
- Add the vinegar and wine and bring to a boil. Stir in the brown sugar and reduce heat, simmering until tender, about 30 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
Makes 6 servings

only cos youre right…
theres JSUT SOO MUCH cabbage…
its a never ending roll…
hahaha i spelt just wrong again…
grrrr…SKSK
i warped the recipe completely…
put in rice vinegar…
put in red wine…
instead…
and added spinach…nice contrast to cabbage…
minused the sugar…
so hey…
i didnt follow this recipe i spose…
hahahahaha
