Mushrooms and Peas in Gravy

1 cup peas
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper

  1. Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Add milk to the pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to a simmer and stir in chicken stock, mushrooms and peas.
  4. Cook until mushrooms are peas are tender, about 5 minutes.

Makes 2 servings
