WEM Food Court
Shannon's parents live in Spruce Grove, just outside of Edmonton. We decided to drive into town and go to the Silver City cinema in West Edmonton Mall. Our movie of choice was Scary Movie 4, which was probably not such a good idea in hindsight, but movies sure seem so much cooler with stadium seating and when you buy your tickets underneath a mechanical fire breathing dragon.
We ended up having our dinner in the food court. I had a Greek salad from some place called Opa! and, due to a constant barrage of marketing and piqued curiousity, a crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell. As a rule I don't really eat fast food and there's definitely a good reason for this. Shannon had a soft taco which was a tiny tortilla 1/4 filled with lettuce. The crunchwrap supreme is not satisfying, tasty or really all that crunchy. I try to set my expectations low for fast food, but I was still horribly disappointed. All that I could taste was salt and processed cheddar cheese. Although my salad was good, it wasn't altogether filling, so I forced myself to finish this sorry excuse for food so I wouldn't go hungry.
