28 ounces crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup water
1 large white onion, chopped
2 jalapenos, stemmed and minced
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder

  1. Simmer all of the ingredients in a large pot until the onion is soft and the sauce has reduced to a thick paste.
  2. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Makes 8 servings
