Middle Eastern Hummus

19 ounces canned chick peas
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons ground cumin
salt and pepper

  1. Pulse chick peas and garlic in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Gradually work in the oils and lemon juice, scrapping the bowl as necessary.
  3. Stir in the cumin, salt and pepper and serve with pita bread or vegetables.

Makes 8 servings

This makes about 2 cups.
