Middle Eastern Hummus

19 ounces canned chick peas
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons ground cumin
salt and pepper
- Pulse chick peas and garlic in a food processor until smooth.
- Gradually work in the oils and lemon juice, scrapping the bowl as necessary.
- Stir in the cumin, salt and pepper and serve with pita bread or vegetables.
Makes 8 servings


This makes about 2 cups.
