Braised Garlic Broccoli

3 cups broccoli flowerets
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chicken stock

  1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a skillet.
  2. Add the broccoli and turn it as it becomes bright green.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add garlic and chicken stock and cover.
  4. Continue to cook until broccoli is tender, about 15 minutes.
  5. Remove lid and allow excess liquid to evaporate before serving.
